Children and Worship
Worship is engagement of God in community.
Worship is the response of the whole people of God – young and old, new and experienced, all sizes, shapes and colors. Liturgy by its definition “means work of the people.” Part of Christian formation is to engage others individually and corporately in participating in our life together as the Body of Christ. In worship we are fed through Word and Sacrament so that we can go out into the world to do the work that Christ commands us to do: feed the poor, care for the widowed and oppressed, speak out for justice and those who have no voice.
